  • Who owns Hampshire Flower Wall Company?
    We are a husband and wife dream team, Dave and Sharon. We started out in events in April 2017 with Sparkling Events Hampshire after trying to find props for our own wedding and not being able to acquire props that were of a luxury quality but also at a reasonable price. We purchased The Hampshire Flower Wall Company in 2019 and have expanded it to keep pace with demand. Our products are all of a luxury quality and available to everyone. So whether you are hiring a large venue or having a small home party you will have exactly the same items. We do not hire out cheap imports! We pride ourselves on the quality of the props we hire out and the way we look after our hire props.
  • What Flower Walls do you have?
    We currently have eleven different types of flower walls available to hire, and are constantly expanding our selection! Most of our walls can stretch between 3m to 12m wide! You can view them all on the "Our Walls" section on the homepage.
  • What can I hire a Flower Wall for?
    All sorts of things! They are beautiful backdrops for Weddings, Photo Booths, Top Tables, Dance Floors, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Childrens Parties, Christenings, Photo Shoots, Shop Openings and Corporate Events.
  • What does it cost to hire a Flower Wall?
    Each Flower Wall is individually priced based on the number of flowers, quality and size of the wall and period of hire. There are no hidden shocks with are prices. What you are quoted is what you pay!
  • Do you require a deposit?
    Yes! We ask for a £100 deposit per flower wall to secure your date. We ask for a £50 depost for the hire of our letters or numbers to secure your date. We ask for a £50 deposit for the hire of our Shimmer Walls to secure your date. We ask for a £50 deposit for the hire of our Circular Backdrop to secure your date. The remaining balance is then due anytime between now and three weeks before your date.
  • How do I book?
    Just drop us a message with the prop you would like, date and venue name and address, your full name and address, mobile number, setup time (allow 1 hour setup time), collection time to and we’ll send you over an invoice and our terms and conditions. You can pay via Bank Transfer Debit or Credit Card. Your booking is only secured once your deposit has been received.
  • What areas do you cover?
    We are based in Southampton and currently deliver to events within Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Surrey and West Sussex. We are happy to travel throughout the UK, however this will attract a mileage charge if it is not one of the counties listed above.
  • My event isn't until next year - when do I need to book by?
    ASAP! We do have bookings running through until 2024, and your date remains open until we receive your deposit.
  • When do you deliver and collect?
    We try to work around your event schedule as much as possible. We require at least an hour and half to set up our full Flower Walls, so for Weddings, we will often come early in the morning. We don’t like to leave our Props in venues overnight if at all possible, so will collect on the day of your event when it has finished - we don't mind late night pick ups!
  • Where can a Flower Wall be put up?
    Our Flower Walls are large heavy structures, so it’s good to find a space with good ceiling height, away from any lights, ceiling fans or heaters. We also require a flat and level floor. It cannot be put up across any doorways where access will be required. The wall cannot be moved once put up, unless arranged with us in advance.
  • Can the Flower Wall be moved during my event?
    Whilst beautiful, the walls are large heavy metal structures so are weighted in place and secured by our team for health and safety reasons. Therefore we ask for you to try to find a place where you're happy for it to stay for the duration of your event. However, we do understand that sometimes moving them is a key part of your day, so we can make this happen. We simply ask for a £50 moving fee, to cover the cost of our staff staying around on the day to deconstruct and recreate the wall, and a 30 minute gap in your schedule to make this happen!
  • Can the Flower Wall be put up outside?
    As they are large metal structures, safety is our number one priority! We are happy to site a wall outside as long as ther weather permits ie in the summer and there is absolutely no chance of rain!
  • My Event is only running for a few hours
    We are happy to provide a quote for your event, minimum hire period is 5 hours.
  • Can I add a sign?
    We can create bespoke signs, for example “Mr & Mrs James” or "Ellie's 21st". Please contact us and we will be happy to provide a quotation.
  • Do you sell Flower Walls?
    At the moment, our Flower Walls are only available to hire.
  • Do you make bespoke Flower Walls?
    As each wall costs thousands of pounds to make, we aren’t able to make bespoke walls. We do have a reliable contact who does, please contact us and we will put you in touch with them.
  • Are your Light Up Letters and Numbers PAT Tested?
    Yes all of our equipment that requires a PAT Test Certificate that goes out on hire has a PAT Test Certificate and these are renewed yearly.
  • All you need to know about our Light Up Letters and Numbers!
    All of our Letters and Numbers are handcrafted and made in the UK, fully PAT Tested yearly and made of rolled steel, so do not lose their shape or swell if they get wet. They are also showerproof and can be used outside. Our Light Up LOVE is 5ft and mains powered. Our other Letters are 4ft and mains powered. Our Numbers are 4ft and mains powered. Our Letters and Numbers are supplied with Power Cables, Extension Leads and Spare Bulbs
  • What do your quoted prices include?
    Our prices include delivery to Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey and West Sussex, setup, collection, PAT Testing and Public Liability Insurance and a professional service with a smile. We are happy to travel throughout the UK, however this will attract a mileage charge if it is not one of the counties listed above.
  • Why do you not show your prices on the website?
    Every event is different, we cannot pop one price on the website that suits all. Please email us, IM us on Social Media or pick up the phone and have a chat with us (we do love talking so prepare for a long chat!). If we can't asnwer straight away we will aim to get back to you within 24 hours, even in the height of the Wedding Season. Your business is very important to us.
  • Are you recommended suppliers anywere?
    Yes we are recommended suppliers at only a few venues by choice, they are: East Horton Golf Club - Flower Walls The Marwell Hotel - Flower Walls The Italian Villa - Flower Walls Hotel Du Vin and Bistro - Flower Walls Bartley Lodge Hotel - Flower Walls The Boat Shed at Salt, Porchester - Light Up Letters and Numbers, Flower Walls The Kings Arms Hotel, Christchurch - Flower Walls The first reason we have chosen to be recommended suppliers at only a few venues is we do not have a lot of time to attend Wedding Fairs due to our continual year round bookings. The second reason is we believe everyone should have a choice and not be tied down to a limited group of suppliers when there are so many amazing suppliers to choose from in every field of events nowadays. We rely on amazing feedback from our clients and word of mouth referrals along with many repeat client bookings. We can provide a list of testimonials on request from clients who have enlisted our services and have been amazingly happy with the results.
